Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical – Day Shift

Role Overview:

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Acts as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team efforts to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Notes and executes physician and nursing orders, assesses patient needs, and coordinates discharge planning with healthcare team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of one year RN experience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care following established protocols
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care activities
• Support discharge planning and patient education
