Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse – Med/Surg / PCU / Telemetry . This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Newport, VT(Onsite) .

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM – including every other weekend rotation
• Expected Hours: 36 hours per week
• $2,561/week for just 36 hours! – great pay for experienced MedSurg/PCU RNs!

• MedSurg / PCU / Telemetry unit
• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
• Floating to other units if there is a need
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Agency professionals required to attend department quarterly education sessions
• Located in Newport, Vermont – small town on the Canadian border, part of the Northeast Kingdom.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Med/Surg, PCU, or Telemetry
• Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
• Current Vermont RN license required (must be obtained upon acceptance)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
• Holiday coverage required
• Locals are accepted – no radius restriction
