Position Description
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate with inter‑disciplinary care providers to develop and assist in the plan of care.
- Organize, prioritize, and update plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit.
- Identify patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepare room environment.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- At least 6 months RN acute care experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
