Float Registered Nurse RN – L&D, Mother-Baby, NICU

  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Schedule: Full‑time, 36 hours per week (Night Shift 7p–7:30a, Weekend/Holiday Rotation)
  • Sign‑on Bonus: Up to $15,000.00
  • Salary: $38.50 – $55.02 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the organization.
  • Primarily float to one or more specialty units as defined by market.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient’s care needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Licensed BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences: Requires a minimum of 3 years recent work experience as a Registered Nurse in Maternal Child Health Services (Labor & Delivery experience highly preferred, Mother‑Baby/Postpartum, and/or NICU).
