Compensation

New increased competitive wages and weekend shift differentials.

Sign on Bonus: $2,500 ($1,250 paid out at 6 months and $1,250 paid out at 1 year)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate driven care.
• Complete health assessments following safety interventions.
• Triage illness and injury reports.
• Implement and follow care plans.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and other relevant community stakeholders.
• Intervene in crisis situations, including physical management of residents using approved crisis management system and skills.
• Complete all documentation by the end of shift.

Preferred Knowledge

• Professional nursing theory and practice.
• Internal working relationships of the facility staff.
• Accrediting standards and regulations.

Preferred Abilities

• Administer a nursing care program.
• Direct and coordinate the application of nursing care techniques to person’s served situations.
• Maintain a helpful and sympathetic attitude toward persons served under trying conditions and maintain harmonious working relationships with professional, paraprofessional, and non-professional employees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and either currently licensed or license‑eligible as a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas.
• Be at least 18+ years of age.

Preferred Experience

• Children or adolescents.
• Intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Psychiatric disorders.
• Inpatient or residential setting.

Other Job Details

• LPN wages start at $27 / RN wages start at $34 / RN PRN is $37 / LPN PRN is $30.
• Weekend shift differential: $3.50 per hour.
• Full time EVENING and OVN needs. Flexible scheduling with 8, 10, and 12 hour options.
