Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices based on evidence-based research, policies, and standards to provide safe, individualized, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, colleagues, and the healthcare team regarding patient status, care, and treatment plans.
• Ensure optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Administer medications utilizing the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure safety.
• Provide patient and family-centered care to promote health, wellness, and disease management.
• Collaborate across disciplines in managing patient care plans from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions and continuous care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must be obtained within 3 years.
• At least six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing needs, and demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and a passion for high-quality patient care.
