Job Summary
The professional nurse on the Surgical Tower Unit uses the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care. The nurse considers the patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs, language barriers, age, teaching needs, and readiness to learn. The nurse demonstrates knowledge of EKG monitoring and the treatment of hypotension and dysrhythmias, commonly used medications, and skill in calculating medication and fluid dosages. The nurse follows the hospital chest pain protocol and is familiar with physiologic changes and common complications associated with specific disease states. Hourly pay ranges from $51.03 to $84.34, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications
- California RN License
- Successful mastery of nursing skills and knowledge related to a RN‑I position
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- Basic computer skills
