About This Role

Adventist Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse II (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) who will provide exceptional patient care while embracing the organization's mission of holistic healing.

• Pay: $37 - $55/hour


• Location: Silver Spring, MD


• Facility: White Oak Medical Center


• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

What You'll Do

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.


• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.


• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.


• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties.


• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.


• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.


• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.


• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.


• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.


• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required


• Two years of ICU experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Maryland State nursing license


• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required


• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
