  • Advanced Intervention Support: Assist with and manage care for patients requiring Temporary Pacemaker Insertion, IABP, and A‑lines.
  • Ventilator & Sedation Management: Monitor and adjust care for ventilated patients and those under sedation (ETOH/OD protocols).
  • Pharmacological Expertise: Titrate common critical care drips including Levophed, Propofol, Precedex, Insulin, and weight-based Heparin.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with on‑unit Respiratory Therapists, Patient Care Technicians, and Health Unit Secretaries to ensure seamless patient throughput.

What you must have

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional ICU experience.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Current Registered Nurse License.
    • ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association).
    • NIHSS Certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic ICU equipment and hemodynamic monitoring.

Nice to have

  • Cardiac Proficiency: Experience with IABP (Intra‑Aortic Balloon Pump) is a plus, though not strictly required.
  • Adaptability: Ability to float to ED or Medical‑Surgical units as needed (based on experience).
  • Advanced Protocols: Familiarity with hypothermia protocols and CVA post‑tPA care.
