BestChoice/MISS is a system-wide, contingent float pool that provides RNs the opportunity to work across a variety of settings within Henry Ford Health System. Nurses benefit from exposure to multiple locations by floating to where staffing needs are identified, such as covering leave of absence, call‑ins, increases in census, or vacation requests. The program offers flexibility, allowing RNs to schedule shifts based on their availability while requiring minimal commitment.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Perform nursing interventions across a variety of situations.
- Identify patient problems before explicit changes in patient data (e.g., vital signs).
- Provide a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Education & Experience Required
Graduation from an accredited nursing school, minimum two years of related clinical nursing experience, and a demonstrated level of performance and practice. Willingness to float to multiple locations is required.
Certifications & Licenses Required
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing, current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
