Registered Nurse – ICU, Per Diem, Nights

Responsibilities

• Coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care
• Support professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care
• Function within the Shriners Hospitals for Children Professional Practice Model (FOCUSED)
• Provide leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors in practice settings, across the profession, and in the community

Requirements

• CA RN License
• BSN
• CPR
• PALS certification within 6 months of employment
• One year of specialty experience (preferred)
