Registered Nurse – Direct Care (Home Health and Hospice)

The Direct Care Registered Nurse – Home Health and Hospice provides high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end-of-life care.

Location & Schedule

City/State: South Boston, VA
Position Location: Sentara Hospice Services – South Boston, VA (travel up to a 50‑mile radius)
Work Shift: Rotating
Anticipated Status/Shift: Flexi (PRN/as needed); anticipated 15 hours/week
Salary Range: $33.61–56 per hour

Education – Required

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)

Certification & Licensure – Required

  • Valid RN License in the state of practice (VA)
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Experience – Required

  • 1 year of nursing experience

Preferred

  • Previous Home Care/Hospice experience
