Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current nursing license in Texas.
- Basic Life Support certification; additional department-specific certifications as required.
- Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
- Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Indoor setting with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential skin and respiratory irritants.
- Physical activity includes standing, moving, bending, reaching, and handling equipment.
- Requires visual acuity, ability to lift and carry weight, and effective communication skills.
