Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg, General Surgery 3W
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care on a General Surgery inpatient unit.
- Maintain professional accountability and evaluate care effectiveness provided by team members.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
- Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Previous hospital experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills.
