What You'll Do

• Collect patient healthcare data systematically and on an ongoing basis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the NYU Langone Health Core Values.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and promote collegial relationships.
• Participate in coordination of unit activities to provide patient care.
• Support the mission, philosophy, and standards of the institution.
• Differentiate professional nursing practice from activities that may be delegated.
• Participate in Unit Practice Council and Nursing Wide Councils.
• Engage in quality improvement programs and activities.
• Educate patients and families to facilitate health adjustments.
• Evaluate patients' progress toward expected outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
• Experience: Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred
• Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
• Licenses & Certifications: BLS Certified through the American Heart Association
