Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Graduate of Accredited school of nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse
- CPR within 3 months of hire
- ACLS within 3 months of hire

Work Environment
- The Float Nurse will work in multiple care areas/ units across the UHS Hospitals care areas.
- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
- Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.

- Early Adult: 18 ‐ 45 Years
- Mid‐Adult: 46 ‐ 59 Years
- Late Adult: 60 ‐ 79 Years
