Methodist Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy/GI team in San Antonio. The RN provides pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, IV insertion, sedation and medication administration per protocol, assisting physicians with endoscopic procedures, monitoring vital signs, responding to complications, and providing patient and family education. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, upholds infection prevention and safety standards, and supports quality improvement and evidence-based practice in a mission-driven, patient-focused environment.
