Job Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital, Tomahawk, WI). Sign‑on bonus eligible. This RN will assume responsibility and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, incorporating evidence‑based practice and continuously improving quality through data analysis.
Hours & Schedule
- Full Time or 0.9FTE, 72 hours every pay period.
- Day/Night rotation.
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, maintain patient safety and high quality care, comply with regulations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license.
- Knowledge of patient care standards acquired through completion of a nursing program.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Maintains mandatory specialty certification required for the Emergency Department.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire (accepted programs include the American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Annual continuing education (CEUs) as per Education Council recommendation.
