Overview

Registered Nurse-ECC Emergency Care-Full Time at TieTalent. Responsibilities

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) for assigned patients, in line with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitor side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers; identify issues and resources.
• Utilize Core Competencies to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; ensure timely reassessment and documentation.
• Coordinate with healthcare team; participate in unit operations, safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
• Understand and apply clinical policies and standards; maintain health information documentation; ensure accurate medical orders and chart interpretation.
• Promote patient safety and participate in quality improvement activities; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations.

Qualifications

• Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS required; RN License in state of employment or compact; obtain required certifications within designated time frame per CHRISTUS Health policy.
