Location: Tulsa, OK

Facility: Ascension St. John's Medical Center

Department: Dialysis

Schedule: Full-Time, Days, 7am-7p, 1 call shift per week

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Saves Lives Daily: Manages complex hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments, safely removing toxins and excess fluids from patients with acute or chronic kidney failure.
  • Stabilizes Critical Patients: Monitors vital signs and responds instantly to life-threatening complications like drastic blood pressure drops or electrolyte imbalances during treatment.
  • Empowers Patients and Families: Teaches home care strategies, fluid restrictions, and dietary changes so patients can manage their health and avoid repeat hospital stays.
  • Drives Team Care: Partners with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers to build and adjust personalized treatment plans that improve long-term patient health.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Dialysis experience strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of nusring experience
