What You'll Do
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Perform age and disease‑specific assessments independently.
- Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
- Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
- Develop and coordinate a patient/family‑focused plan of care.
- Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
- Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Administer medications utilizing advanced bar‑scanning technologies.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
- Adhere to established protocols and document care accurately.
Requirements
Education:
- Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred.
Experience:
- Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
- BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
