Role Overview:
The RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, adhering to evidence-based practices and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; partners with patients and families using relationship-based, culturally sensitive approaches; promotes teamwork through effective communication and documentation; supports performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices; mentors colleagues and participates in protocols to optimize outcomes; ensures compliance with healthcare policies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience; hold an active RN license (single state or multi-state compact); possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; and have an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential.
