Job Description
Location: Oshkosh, WI
Facility: Mercy Hospital
Department: Cath Lab
Schedule: Full-time days | 36 hours per week | M-F daytime hours with on-call responsibility at least 1 day per week and a rotation on the weekends based on staffing
How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinicalobjectives and quality patient care in assigned area.
- Assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
- Contribute toor perform performance evaluations of staff.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuring thatpopulation appropriate patient care is given.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
What minimum qualifications you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences:
Must at least 3 years of cath lab/IR experience.
