Responsible for assessing, preparing, and positioning patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed.
- Develop, implement, and document patient care plans, communicating conditions to physicians throughout procedures.
- Set up and manage equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
- Facilitate and assist with diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; Advanced Life Support preferred.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
- Strong communication, technical, and patient assessment skills.
Key Duties
Ensure patient safety, prepare and operate procedural equipment, and effectively communicate with healthcare teams to deliver quality cardiac care.
