Registered Nurse - Cath Lab/Interventional

Seeking a registered nurse for a role in the Cardiac Cath Lab, responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing patient care for adult patients.

Key Duties Include

• Performing as part of the procedure team as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
• Preparing patients for procedures, ensuring accurate history and physical information.
• Utilizing critical judgment to assess patients, administer medications, and report abnormalities.
• Ensuring safe hemostasis and managing vascular devices.
• Entering patient orders and charges, verifying accuracy.
• Providing care for critically ill patients and functioning independently in stressful situations.
• Educating patients and families, providing clear perioperative instructions, and assisting with patient escorting.
• Performing point-of-care testing and maintaining safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact license).
• Certifications: BLS, ALS, PALS (as applicable).

Physical requirements include constant standing, walking, communication, and frequent lifting, reaching, and visual acuity. Occasional patient lifting and movement are required, along with bending, stooping, and driving.
