Seeking a registered nurse for a role in the Cardiac Cath Lab, responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing patient care for adult patients.
Key Duties Include
- Performing as part of the procedure team as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
- Preparing patients for procedures, ensuring accurate history and physical information.
- Utilizing critical judgment to assess patients, administer medications, and report abnormalities.
- Ensuring safe hemostasis and managing vascular devices.
- Entering patient orders and charges, verifying accuracy.
- Providing care for critically ill patients and functioning independently in stressful situations.
- Educating patients and families, providing clear perioperative instructions, and assisting with patient escorting.
- Performing point-of-care testing and maintaining safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact license).
- Certifications: BLS, ALS, PALS (as applicable).
Physical requirements include constant standing, walking, communication, and frequent lifting, reaching, and visual acuity. Occasional patient lifting and movement are required, along with bending, stooping, and driving.
