Seeking a registered nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab, responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering patient care to adults undergoing cardiac procedures.
Key Duties Include
- Performing as a circulator, scrub, or monitor during procedures;
- Preparing patients, ensuring accurate history, and administering medications;
- Ensuring safe hemostasis and managing vascular devices;
- Documenting orders and charges accurately;
- Providing care for critically ill patients and educating patients and families;
- Assisting with patient transfers and performing point-of-care testing as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent;
- Current RN license in the applicable state;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Pediatric ALS certifications;
- Critical care and sedation experience preferred;
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and ability to work independently in stressful situations.
