Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Overview

RN - Cardiac Telemetry position at Rowan Medical Center – Salisbury, NC. Patient population includes chronic heart failure with multiple comorbidities. Schedule: PRN - On call as needed. This role may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on a fast-paced Cardiac Telemetry unit.
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry changes while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and support patients recovering from cardiac-related illnesses and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions to support successful recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver safe, patient-centered care while prioritizing teamwork, communication, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: Four-year/Bachelor’s degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the appropriate state, required.
