Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess: Evaluate physical, social, psychological, cognitive, and communicative status by gathering information from patients, families, and team members.
• Plan: Develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare teams, including education and follow-up support.
• Implement: Deliver or delegate care, coordinate with team members, prioritize tasks, manage resources efficiently, and ensure adherence to care guidelines.
• Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, maintain accurate documentation, and promote professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact license transfer if applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Skills in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and care coordination.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.
• Physical capacity to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, and driving if applicable.
