Registered Nurse –Cardiac Telemetry 3A (32 Hours, 11p-7a)

Position

Registered Nurse MNA Department: Med/Surg- Cardiac Telemetry Schedule: 32 Hours, 11p-7a, Every Other Weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly and individualized needs such as impairments, non-English speaking, potential victims of abuse
• Incorporate knowledge of patient rights, mission, vision, and values into nursing practice
• Assume full responsibility for the quality of nursing care, including health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, and restoration of optimal functioning or dignified death
• Delegate nursing acuities to other registered nurses or healthcare personnel while ensuring ultimate responsibility for patient outcomes
• Utilize excellent assessment, clinical, organizational skills and computer knowledge; capacity to charge
• Be able to lift, transfer, and move patients; communicate verbally and in writing in English; perform required mathematical computations for treatment protocols

Requirements

• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); must obtain BSN within 4 years
• License/Certifications: Current RN MA license, BLS + ACLS required
• Experience: 1-2 years of acute Med/Surg experience strongly preferred in hospital setting
