Position: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry

Department: Med/Surg‑Cardiac Telemetry 2A

Schedule: 32Hours (11p.m.–7a.m.) with rotating weekends.

About the Role

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is a Magnet®‑recognized, safety‑net hospital that provides comprehensive cardiac telemetry care. As an RN in our Cardiac Telemetry Department, you will deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care to a diverse population of cardiac patients in a 32‑hour shift (11p.m.–7a.m.) with rotating weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients
• Communicate with health‑care team members, patients, and families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to inter‑professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records, enter and interpret computerized data
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
• Assist leadership in quality‑improvement projects

Education and Experience

• Diploma, ASN or BSN in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years if not already earned
• Current RN license in Massachusetts and BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Prior acute Med/Surg experience preferred

Compensation range: $38.10 – $77.63 per hour.
