Job Responsibilities
- The Cardiac Neuro Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.
- 12‑hour shifts.
Job Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed an accredited RN program.
- Must have an RN license in the State of Florida, a COMPACT nursing state, or have the ability to obtain one.
- BSN is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the Telemetry or Cardiac Units of an acute care hospital as an RN.
- Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Must have NIHSS certification within the first 30 days of work. (Must work under NIHSS credentials until training certificate obtained.)

Salary Range
$29.00 (2yr) – $32.70 (5 yr) – $36.81 (10 yr) – $42.13 (17 yr MAX)
