What You'll Do

• Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems.
• Communicate and document patient's physiologic and psychosocial health status.
• Develop individualized patient goals and establish care priorities.
• Maintain vigilance over patient care and ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Administer prescribed treatments and provide emotional support to patients.
• Collaborate with care team members to plan and implement treatment regimens.
• Educate patients and families on drug interactions and post-hospital care.
• Perform variance analysis related to outcome data for performance improvement.
• Assist physicians during treatments and diagnostic procedures.
• Document patient's treatment, activity, and condition accurately.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
