Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Neurosciences

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse providing comprehensive patient care in a neuroscience-focused unit, including neurology, neurosurgery, epilepsy, and general medical/surgical patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs, ensuring safety and satisfaction.
• Perform assessments within scope of practice and coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluate nursing interventions and adjust plans based on patient responses.
• Collaborate proactively with physicians and staff to address patient needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Contribute to quality, safety, and team goals through active participation and accountability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and clinical situations.
