Role Overview:
This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care, completing assessments, and developing individualized care plans that address patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures; evaluate intervention effectiveness; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; troubleshoot equipment; participate in evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives; and promote patient safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate of a specialty nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Work Environment & Details:
Typically performed in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations, including medical, surgical, and telemetry cases. Responsibilities include working in a unit with private rooms, dialysis, and telemetry capabilities, and supporting hospitalist and specialty services.
