Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Medication Aide to work in our assisted living facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, maintaining accurate medication records, and providing excellent patient care. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with our nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident responses
- Monitor and report any adverse reactions to medications
- Assist with resident care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Conduct vital signs and other assessments as required
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Requirements:
- Currently certified as a Registered Medication Aide (RMA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to confidentiality policies
