Registered Home Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCH) to provide hands-on support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. In this role, you’ll help clients maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life while providing respectful, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene

• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers, positioning, and ambulation as needed

• Assist with meal preparation and feeding

• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or activities as needed

• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or behavior

• Follow individualized care plans and document services provided

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous caregiving, personal care, home care, or healthcare experience preferred

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures

• Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility as required by the position

• Must meet all applicable background check, training, certification, and state requirements
