To support virtual weight management initiatives, the full-time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will assess patients' nutritional status, provide medical nutrition therapy, and collaborate with healthcare teams, all while working remotely during standard business hours. Key responsibilities Assess and monitor patients' nutritional status, adjusting care based on scientific literature and clinical evaluations Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling, developing and implementing tailored nutrition plans for clients Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition into comprehensive patient care and maintain thorough documentation Required qualifications Bachelor's degree if Registered Dietitian (RD) before 1/1/2024; Master's degree if RD on or after 1/1/2024 Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) and Licensed by the applicable state Board of Dietetics and Nutrition required RD/LDN registry eligible with registration required within 4 months of hire Specialty certification (e.g., CDCES, CNSC) may be required based on departmental needs Knowledge of principles of growth and development relevant to the patient population served
