About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at East Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in The Bronx, New York. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our patients are met and exceeded. Your expertise will help us provide high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for patients with diverse dietary needs and restrictions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address patients' nutritional deficiencies and health concerns
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Conduct in-service training for staff on nutrition-related topics
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and nutrition interventions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and dietetics

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian
• Current state licensure (if required)
