Registered Dietitian Opportunity
King David Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!
The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Registered Dietitian Responsibilities
- Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status, progress, and care plan updates
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members on dietary interventions
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents to support healthy eating habits
- Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, safety, infection control, and Kosher regulations
- Attend and contribute to interdisciplinary care plan meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident medical records
- Stay current with industry standards through continuing education and in-service training
- Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold all resident rights
- Perform other job-related duties as needed and directed
Registered Dietitian Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or registry-eligible with the American Dietetic Association (must pass exam within required timeframe)
- Knowledge of regulatory dietary requirements for skilled nursing facilities
- COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred:
- Experience with Kosher dietary practices
