Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

An Insight Global State Healthcare partner is seeking a Registered Dietician to join one of their top long-term care clients! This state-of-the-art facility, located in Chelsea MA, provides residential and long-term care services to eligible veterans in MA. This person must be able to write, read and speak English proficiently. This person will be expected to work onsite at the Chelsea facility Monday - Friday (5-8 hour shifts). This registered dietician will play a crucial role in ensuring residents receive optimal Nutritional care. Their responsibilities include:

Shift Time:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 4:30pm

Duties

• Nutritional Assessments - completion of comprehensive assessments considering factors such as medical history, health conditions, current health status and dietary preferences.
• Meal Planning and Management - development, modification and oversight of residents' meal plans .
• Monitoring and Documentation - creating and maintaining detailed documentation of resident's dietary assessments, care plans, and modifications .
• Education and Counseling - continuous education and counseling of residents about healthy eating habits and managing chronic health conditions through diet.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietician in the State of MA (proof of active license)
• Dementia Care Certification (8-hour Dementia training)
• Bachelor's Degree in dietetics, nutrition, human nutrition or related field
• Strong Communication skills, ability to proficiently speak, read and write English
