Irmo Smiles is a modern, patient-focused practice in Irmo, South Carolina , just outside Columbia. We're a growing practice with a supportive doctor, amazing patients , and a genuine commitment to high-quality, relationship-driven care in a state-of-the-art environment.

We're looking for an exceptional hygienist who wants to be an important part of our team , not simply move from patient to patient all day, but build long-term relationships with patients while delivering outstanding clinical care.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $43 to $60 per hour , plus bonuses

Production Bonus: An hourly rate plus a lump-sum bonus , both built around daily production goals

Benefits Include:

• Health insurance , with a portion of the premium covered by the practice
• Continuing education : all approved CE courses covered by the practice
• Paid time off : 6 paid holidays plus up to 4 weeks of PTO
• Signing/retention bonus: $3,000 ($1,000 at 30 days, $1,000 at 6 months, $1,000 at 1 year)

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No Fridays and no weekends
• Some flexibility on start time

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist who's confident, personable, dependable, and passionate about building long-term patient relationships while delivering outstanding clinical care. The ideal candidate is:

• A licensed Registered Dental Hygienist , with 1 to 2 years of clinical experience preferred (though not required)
• Thorough and clinically strong , comfortable identifying and educating patients about periodontal disease
• Confident discussing preventive and restorative needs alongside the doctor
• Proactive and growth-minded , able to help patients understand the value of recommended care without making them feel pressured
• Someone who genuinely enjoys people , works well on a team, takes pride in their work, and wants to build a long-term career where their contribution is recognized and appreciated
