News & World ReportResponsibilities· Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders and safety protocols· Communicate clearly with patients and team members, ensuring a positive experience· Operate equipment with precision, maintaining proper exposure levels and techniques· Review images for quality and diagnostic acceptability· Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction· Practice sterile techniques and assist with emergency procedures when needed· Participate in continuing education and developmentQualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:Associate's degree required1–2 years of experience preferredRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state license requiredCompletion of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.Successfully completed and passed CT registry.Must participate in continuing education activities in accordance to the ARRT guidelines.Valid Ohio radiologic license.Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association must be held.Required Skills and Knowledge: Must complete at least 24 hours of direct credit continuing education every 2 yearsJoin our team as a CT Technologist at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center and work alongside some of the most dedicated professionals in healthcare.
