- Develop, monitor, evaluate, review and modify ABA programs for children with ASD based on initial and ongoing assessments
- Provide behaviour analytic services and clinical oversight to Positive Behaviour Interventionists
- Support quality assurance through staff training, evaluation, and contributions to program development
- Maintain documentation in accordance with Behaviour Analyst Certification Board guidelines and FIREFLY policies and procedures
- Analyze and synthesize data to support assessment, programming, and intervention planning
- Advocate on behalf of client for service, equipment, and funding
- Work collaboratively with FIREFLY staff and community agencies
- Act as a resource for FIREFLY staff and community agencies
- Travel between service delivery sites in urban and rural settings across Northwestern Ontario
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Behaviour Analysis or Psychology is required
- Registration as a Registered Behaviour Analyst authorizing autonomous practice with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario is required
- Certification with the Behaviour Analysts Certification Board or registration in progress, will be considered
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience training and/or supervising others to provide behaviour analytics is required
- Demonstrated competency in delivery and oversight of behaviour assessment and intervention for children and youth with ASD is required
- Experience working with children and youth with developmental concerns and/or ASD, and their families, is required
- Advanced knowledge of autism, developmental disabilities, and clinical assessment tools are required
- Strong ability to assess needs, develop programming, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, youth, families, staff, and community partners
- Ability to support and involve parents and caregivers in programming in a respectful and meaningful way
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a diverse and collaborative team
- Ability to work creatively with clients individually and in group settings
- Strong documentation, report writing, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team and organization goals
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to speak French would be an asset
