Summary
Responsible for providing therapeutic clinical services in the mode of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in assigned clinical area and for participating in program development and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans and continuous measurement procedures under the direction and close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and document data on patient progress, including tracking challenging behaviors, responses to interventions, and progress toward goals.
- Utilize appropriate outcome measures to evaluate patient progress in targeted behavioral intervention areas
- Document objective session notes for service verification by describing what occurred during the sessions, in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and workplace requirements
- Safely and effectively respond to and manage challenging or high-risk behaviors.
- Meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description, including prolonged periods of standing, sitting on the floor, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Obtain supervision for a minimum of 5% of the hours spent providing behavior-analytic services each calendar month.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You may be required to float occasionally to other Children's Health locations including Dallas, Plano and THD Clinics.(sStart time hours can be discussed during interviews)

How You'll Be Successful:
- At least 1-year Job-related experience, to include management of high-risk behaviors. Examples include but are not limited to self-injury, elopement, and aggression. Required
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Pref Bachelor's level degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, social work, psychology, education, marriage and family therapy or counseling Preferred
- High School or GED Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Behavior Technician - RBT Essential Registered Behavioral Technician Certification - Time Frame: 90 Days - Required. Highly preferred to already hold your Registered Behavioral Technician
- Basic Life Support- BLS Essential Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Required
