Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data on client progress, and providing support in various settings. The Behavior Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
- Provide direct support to clients in various environments, including home, school, and community settings.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis and special education strategies.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with disabilities.
