Job Description

As a Behavior Technician at Bridgeway Integrated Healthcare Services (BIHS) (formerly Utah Behavior Services), you will independently conduct 1:1 Behavior Therapy shifts, each lasting at least 2.5 hours, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your role involves addressing objectives outlined in the Behavior Service Plan (BSP) under the guidance of a Supervising Clinician and participating in supervision sessions to discuss child progress and your performance.

You are expected to collect and record data accurately, demonstrate creativity and flexibility in program delivery, and communicate effectively with parents/caregivers. You must complete all documentation professionally and in a timely manner, uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity, and comply with Utah and federal regulations relevant to ABA and mental health services.

This is an entry-level position. All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a current driver's license, be 18 years or older, pass a background check, work a minimum of 21 hours per week, and maintain confidentiality about the clients, families, staff, and any other protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA.

Winning In Your Role

Winning on our team means strengthening families through demonstrating clinical competency in evidence-based approaches (don't worry, we'll train you); striving for excellence by presenting yourself as a polished professional; and striving to work as a team by cultivating optimism, building morale, and promoting open communication.
