Position Details

Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Setting: In-Home and In Clinic

Locations: 1921 Rohlwing Rd. Rolling Meadows, IL, 60008 and a 30‑minute radius around this clinic location.

Compensation: $20‑$24 an hour

Initial Schedule (15‑25 Hours/Week)

This schedule is set to start, with potential for more hours and schedule growth as the caseload expands.

Responsibilities

  • Work one‑on‑one with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing individualized treatment plans designed to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Directly implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs as designed by the BCBA.
  • Collect accurate and reliable data on client progress.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the BCBA, client’s family, and team members.
  • Attend required supervision and team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Must hold the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be willing to complete the RBT 40‑hour training prior to starting.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
  • Punctuality, excellent time management, and professional demeanor are essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (some college preferred).
