Registered Behavior Technician
Butterfly Effects' mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve those affected by autism.
What would you be doing?
- Permanent part‑time opportunity to make a full‑time impact on a child's life (10–20 hours on average).
- Provide home‑based treatment by working directly with the child and the family in their natural environment to teach communication, sharing, play, waiting, and other essential skills.
- Make sessions fun through play‑based activities.
- Receive training to ensure confidence in skills required to instruct children affected by autism.
- Physical demands: working in natural environments may require lifting or moving approximately 50 lbs and maintaining various postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
What do you bring to the role?
- Education: Minimum high‑school diploma.
- Certifications: Active RBT certification.
- A love and passion for working with children.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- Auto insurance: Your name listed as an insured driver.
- Web‑enabled device (laptop or tablet).
- Availability: Minimum three weekdays with consistent availability for at least six months.
- Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.
Compensation
We believe in fair and competitive compensation. As such, we provide benefits outside of your hourly rate to support your role.
- $21–28 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications in the ABA field.
- Drive‑time pay between sessions.
