Job Overview

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated RBT to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.

Responsibilities

• - Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)


• - Collect data on client behavior during sessions


• - Assist in the development and implementation of care plans


• - Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies


• - Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors


• - Maintain accurate and confidential client records


• - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

Skills

• - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism


• - Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques


• - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent


• - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records


• - Ability to work effectively in a team environment


• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• - Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
