Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This is a part-time afternoon position working directly with children in home and/or community settings.
The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and related developmental needs.
Schedule
Monday – Friday
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Consistent weekly hours
Responsibilities
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients
Collect and record accurate session data
Maintain professional communication with parents and supervisors
Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as written
Participate in supervision and team meetings
Qualifications
Active RBT certification (required)
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience working with children with autism preferred
Reliable transportation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to pass background check
